Missing fish....

I had a red basslet in the tank. Used to hide in the rocks but came out regularly. Added a bunch of fish, including a flame angel and a false clown on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone seemed happy Sunday night, once the damsel got accustomed to the Flame Angel and stopped chasing him around so much. False clown was buddying up with its anenome. When I got home from work on Monday, the flame angel was dead (no visible cause of death - no external markings or aberrations. No missing or chewed fins.) I have not seen the red basslet or the false clown since.
What killed the Flame Angel? (stress from being chased?)
What happened to the other two?
(Water parameters were zero across the board for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, pH the usual 8.4.)

if you havnt found them and its been a few days then i would move the rocks around a little. i have a damsel that does the same thing. he only comes out like once a week, cuz he is afraid of the foxface & the shrimp.
good luck finding the little guys

The flame could certainly have died from the stress. It isn't a good idea to add many fish at one time. One or two at a time is best, least aggressive to most. I wouldn't count out your missing fish yet, especially the basslet. He was already in your tank and should have been settled. Do you have a cleanup crew? Have you checked your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings?
