Missing Tang

I have had a Blue (Hippo) tang in my 55 gallon tank for almost a year, no problems! I came home yesterday and he was no where to be found. I waited until this morning, still no sign. I looked under every rock, searched every area of the tank. Gone!! The only recent addition to my tank was a yellow tang. From all indications, they were getting along fine. Any ideas where my favorite fish may have gone to? Do they bury themselves? Any explanation would be helpful.

It's very possible that it is still in your live rock. But one of my favorite stores in my area looked for almost 3 days looking for a yellow tang and it just appeared. It's probably just hiding somewhere~!
