Missing trigger...

I have a 75 gal agg FO with a 1" clown trigger, 3" Lunare wrasse(new addition BTW), and 3" valentini puffer. I had a 3.5" Huma trigger but it went missing this past Thursday. I never found a corpse so I figured he may be hiding somewhere. After not seeing him in three days EVEN at feeding time (where he is usually the first to the top of the tank), I searched the tank for a body to no avail. Is it possible that he could have died and the other tankmates ate him before I could notice he was gone. The tank levels are not noticably higher than normal. Am I just awaiting a crashed tank when I get home from work or should I just chalk up the $40 loss of a friend to experience?

I have a picasso that hides alot, and sometimes I can't find him, he can blend in well. He always comes out to eat though, could be possible yours was cosumed by another fish. I would look again searching every nook and cranny.

Try looking outside the tank...like behind it etc., unfortunately that is how I lost my Niger trigger. He tried carpet surfing and that was the end of it....
