mix green/blue/scarlet hermits?

Can you put more than one species of hermit crabs in the same tank? Or will they fight? I have a 90 gallon and want to put different types in, but I thought I remembered reading somewhere that you can't do that.
Thanks for whatever thoughts you can give me on this.

Your average hermits like the scarlet and blue legged and the red legs are fine together. Just don't throw in larger species with them. And a hermit isn't picky. If he's hungry and bigger..... family is food too.
