Ahhh ok. A Black and White Ocellaris is the type I thought you were referring too, but the CF threw me.
Because the false perc is really an ocellaris, and so are the B&W's yes they can co-exist. However its not uncommon because of the vast difference in coloration that they may not get along. Even when paired identical ocellaris are together they need to be watched as they dont always get along. But its worth a try there are more stories of success than failure with this combination. HTH.

i'm trying to decide.....i really like the way a black one looks but i like the lil clowns too

thanks for the advice i'll keep it in mind

Just to add a corollary onto Dark's advice, it only applies if you're looking at a B&W ocel.
It doesn't apply to Saddlebacks, Clarkii's, or any other clownfish. Mixing those types with an ocel in a 24g will probably result in bad news for the ocel.
Trust me, I had a dead ocel and POed wife after trying it.
