Mixing hard and soft corals?

Is it possible to successfully keep hard and soft corals together? I have heard sps corals do not like alkalinity products. Thanks.

I've seen it quite a few times, it probably depends on the species.

Leathers are supposedly not a good idea to keep with SPS because of a toxin they release. But as long as the flow is not blowing the leather toxins at the SPS, i see no problem keeping them together. I have both and so far so good.

I have both in my tank for over a year now and no problems.

Thanks for the info. I have a small Pavona and some small Zoos. So far everything is doing well.
