Hello Can I put two volitan lion fish in the same tank? I have a 92 gal. corner tank fish only. Thanks

As long as you are planning on moving both lions to a MUCH larger tank in the near future. They get to 15" (a basketball with fins floating around your tank) and multiply that by 2, you will be looking at least a 300g for the two and they grow really fast. I got mine a little over a month ago and it has already doubled in size. Anyway hope this helps and good luck!

Though you can have more than one Volitan in a tank, they will out grow your tank very fast. You could have two dwarfs, if you are looking at the fuzzy dwarfs than you could have a male and female but I would not attempt two males.
You may want to look at the Lion info sheet, it will help guide you more on this plus it will help in guiding you with the different species.

I asked the same question awhile back but never got an answer on how to tell males from females but noticed you mentioned it in your post above...So how does one tell male from female Lions? (sorry about thread jacking)

A Male has 6 - 10 stripes on the fins (look at the main large bands on the fins) along with larger heads, Females have 4 - 6 stripes on their fins....
I have kept Volitans with dwarfs trouble free, you have to make sure the dwarf is to large to eat, you do not want a tiny dwarf with a 8 inch volitan, they can eat them......... My dwarfs were mature before placing them with young volitans.

sry to thread jack but does that apply to antennatas too?
There are No identifiable markings between male & female Antennata.
