Mixing pink and green star polyps

Can I place green and pink star polyps near each other? What will they do? Will they mix and make a pretty effect or will one choke the other out?

good question. i have 4 different kinds of star polyps in my tank, and two are on the same rock.
ive been wondering if i should frag it apart out or let it grow together

the faster growing one will certainly smother the slower one.
