mixing pipefish

i posted this in seahorse/pipefish so i thought id try up here
i just bought another pipefish this is a banded, and the other is a many-banded the one in the tank already is chasing and fighting the new one, is this normal like when any new fish is added or will they fight, i looked it up and it says they should be ok together. not sure if i should take it back or not..any help????

They may fight for the first couple of days as they establish territory, but definitely keep your eye on them. If it gets bad, try re-arranging rockwork or take the new pipefish out.
