hello everyone. I was wonder if anyone could help me out. I wanna top off my tank. the problem is that it is still in it's cycle and I dont know if I should. Also my sump is real low in water, what should be the water level in it ? Should i just prepare water and add it. if thats the case what would be the best way in preparing water? All opinions are appreciated, and thank you in advance.

When your adding water for evaporation, you do not add mixed water. You just want to add RO water,as for the depth of the sump,i keep mine about 6 inches deep.

This is the point in my cycle process where I adjusted my SG. If the it was low, when I needed more water, I did a mix and adjusted accordingly. If it was high, I just added more ro/di water. HTH.

IMO the salinity should have been adjusted before adding to the tank, but that's just me....For evaportation just add fresh RO water, won't affect your cycling

Thanks to all that replied. where would be the best place to fill this water in the sump or directly in the tank?
