Mixing Salts???

I am switching from instant ocean to reef crystals, and I was wondering if it is ok to combine the very little I have left-maybe 3 cups worth-with a new bag of the reef crystals??

No problem would arise from mixing what little you have left of one salt into a new bag of different salt. Go ahead.

I did the exact switch as you a few weeks ago and added the last 6 cups of I.O. I had to a water change with the Reef Crystals-no problem. My calcium has come up from around 340 to 400.
