I have been using Instant Ocean salt for years on my tank, Does anyone know if there is any danger if I start using Reef Crystals salt mix.I have not been able to find anything on mixing salts on established tanks.
it is safe. i acutally mix salts sometimes when i do water changes. most of them are about the same. some people have preferance to which they use but most use the cheapest salts in their areas.
i've had to mix numerous times. Some reason i like the more expensive kind but when u rn't paying attention to ur money flow and oops ur down a few bucks u gotta buy the cheaper stuff. SO nope, no problems here...
