mixing?

Which clown fish species can be mixed without fighting? Would it help to buy pairs of each species?

IMO do not mix clowns, stick with a pair of two of the same species. Why spend the cash and potentially risk the lives of fish? Find a pair you especially like and stick with them. It will possibly work if you have a very large tank, but then the clowns will always protect their territory and cause stress on each other. Whether they actually fight or not.

The only ones I have heard of mixing without fighting are Perculas and Ocellaris clowns....and even that is hit and miss.
Unless your tank is 200+ gallons, don't try it.
