Modding the Eclipse 6

I have an old 6 gallon eclipse that I added some small PCs to to use as a nano. To make a long story short I had a really bad case of aptasia so I drained it and put it in a closet. I found it the other day and cleaned it up, I was thinking about getting a sheet of plexi-glass and making it into like an internal filter, like the kind you see on the big expencive tanks. I also want to paint it black so you cant see through it. What kind of paint should I use and also what is the best way to cut plexiglass?

don't know of anything safe to paint acrylic with ..... maybe some of that purple PVC glue??
to cut plexiglass or acrylic you need to score it and snap it on a straight edge.
I think some of the hard ware stores will cut you a piece of acrylic to the size you desire. You pay for a ful lsheet and get it cut.

like he said= take a blade and a some wood- to guide the blade) and make a deep cut and place the line on the edge of a counter or something and hit it- it will break where you cut it- the deeper the better- but a 6 gal dosent have much room but you can try
