MODDING: Viper 70w into nanowave 9 hood

I have a nanowave 9 (48w) and i have a Viper 70w metal halide. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to transfer the metal halide and the fans that go with the fixture into my NW9 hood, keeping the PC's in there as well. I have no experience doing any lighting mods, but i'm just trying to gauge how difficult this would be. What extra materials are are needed to do this mod? How do I go about doing this?
I know some of you guys have done some pretty sweet mods to your all in one hoods, and i'd love to see them. Any info or tips on modding hoods or general lighting mods is welcomed in this thread.

Apparently not! did you ever attempt this? i have a 15g tall eclipse and I would also like to mod it / see other peoples mods.

i wouldnt do it. the tank will develop alot of heat with a closed hood. the way it is should be fine.
