Mods for skimmer in refug.?

So i'm going to be switching from my canister filter to a refugium... unsure yet as to which one, but I already have a seaclone skimmer, does anyone have any mods to make this work in a refug.?? or should I just end up buying a new one (pics would be great!) .... thanks! :0)

I have the seaclone 100 (which I later found isnt a very good skimmer) and just took off that extension pipe tube that connects the skimmer to the pump and just attached it directly to the bottom of the skimmer. Now I can just have it sit in my sump.

I also have the seaclone 100 in me refug I don't know the mods cause i bought it off a friend but it seems to work fine.
