Mojano Anemone

I found out on another section of this board that this is a mojano anemone (bottom left of the xenia stalk). How do I get rid of it when it's attached to a coral? If I inject it I risk getting the coral... same with boiling R/O, I might hit the good stuff. No one around me sells Joe's Juice.. any other ideas?

I wouldn't use the Joe's Juice here, I'm almost certain the Xenia would die. I injected some Apatasia last night, they were all around some zoo's and a unidentified sps. I tried the Joe's Juice about a month ago and it just killed my zoo's and sps(now recovering), the Apatasia seemed to multiply. Didn't have much luck with Kalk solution either when I tried that(I think that is what the Juice is anyways). My stuff is fine today with no signs of damage, I did a bunch of injecting too, about 8 of them, some pretty big. If you don't want to do the boiling water thing, you could try and get the Xenia to move to another rock, and then get rid of the little pest. If you inject it though, make sure to suck out the remains afterwards. I hope this helps a little

Oh, I forgot you could try Peppermint shrimp for Apatasia, I don't know if they eat Majano though.

Mine doesn't touch this stuff.... so how do I get my Xenia to move to another rock? I tried a nice firm chat but he didn't budge

You could place a rock beside it, maybe have some current kind of pushing it onto the other rock maybe, they tend to grow in an upward path, just put small rocks all around it, blow some current at it and see if it slowly moves to one of the rocks, You could always just cut it off the rock and glue it to another, if you don't want to glue you could lightly tie frag to rock. whatever fragging technique you like should work.
