"MOLE" ON PERCULA

Just noticed a white "mole" type thing on one of my percs. Never seen one before. Same exact color of it's skin (white part.) Wondering, could this be bact. infection? Doesn't look hairy but looks smooth. about 3/4 the size of a BB. Any advice would be appreciated.

also, forgot to mention that it is in my main tank. I have a 55g qt tank that is currently doused with copper for a butterfly parasite. Should I put pull the perc immediately and put in qt or should I observe??

ok, after a couple of days observation, occasionally it will swim and "shiver" That is the best way to describe its behavior. Haven't seen any scratching yet. Still eating good too. It looks like a little cotton ball. I don't see any egg strings coming from it. If I move it to my QT tank, should I pluck it off with tweezers? Have read about doing this in one of my books. If anyone can identify this, will copper help?

Funny I had a simliar looking thingy on my perc, and I plucked it off. He is doing fine now. I think he loves me more for it too! Ever since he comes up and eats out of my hand!
Good Luck
