i have had my CBS about 2 months now and he has molted about every 2 weeks is that normal. i never see him he must just come out at night but i find his skeliton.

How big is he? When my shrimp were small (and this goes for multiple varieties of shrimp) they would mold all the time (2-3 weeks). Now the smaller Skunk still molts monthly.

Hmm. Should be past the molting all the time stage. Your water parameters are good?
Does everything else with him seem to be normal other than the molting constantly?

Mine is about 3.5 inches. Only molts once every couple months or so, if that.I do remember when he did it alot more often though.He was probably about 2 to 2.5 inches at that time..

tank is in great shape had some black algea that went away paramiters are spot on corals and other fish doing great guess it is normal...thanks all

I wouldn't worry about it. He's still fairly young. It should start to get a little less as he gets bigger. For now, it just means he's not done growing (especially since everything else in your tank is doing well.)
BTW, I've looked everywhere for an ID on that crab, I can't determine what it is. I posted it on another site I use to see if anyone can ID it there. You may want to try asking WetWebMedia.

well i would love to hand feed him but i never see him but a couple time at nite. he stays hidden the only way i know he is st there is his antena ar so long they stick out. (pardon the spelling)

oh thanks for trying with the crab i have not seen him anymore. i am thinking of setting my trap again. I saw the giant JIMMY LAST NIGHT I have a plan for him . someone mentioned a red lite i am going to try it and grab him (maybe steam him ...lol)
