molting

i noticed my hermits on what looked to be my peppermint shrimp so i believe my peppermint shrimp molted within the last couple of days but i was wondering if the empty shell would still have color (like the red pattern on the body, and legs) or if my shrimp wasn't hidden well enough afterwards and my hermit found it. (there was also like clear fleshy pieces caught on my rocks, any ideas?)

When the molt the caseing they leave behind is a whitish almost see through color.
It'll look like a double of the shrimp....legs...antenna....everything.
He definitely molted.....Mine molted for the 4th time in about 3 months last night!

thats what i thought but the shell that the hermit had a hold of still had the red lines and stuff so i wasn't sure if it was the shrimp or the shell

i looked for a few minutes and couldn't see him but i was on my way out when i noticed so i didn't have much time.
