Molting

So I think this is weird. Everything in my tank molted last night. My lobster and all my shrimp. They always molt but not together. I thought that was odd. Anyway my question is my emarald crab has never molted. I have had him for 6 months. Do they not molt? Do they just keep growing? Not that it really matters, I just dont want something to be wrong with him. I was under the impression that he would shed his "skin" too.

Your Emerald should molt, they usually leave the exoskeleton in plain site. He/She probably has molted and you didn't notice, it was probably quickly consumed by it and others in the tank. The male I have has molted about 4 times in two months.

did you dose it last night? did you add anything? when i add iodine, i notice my coral banded would always molt the next day...

No I did nothing differently. I guess they decided to have a party.
