My cleaner shrimp just molted for the first time - do I need to remove the molted leftovers, or should I leave them there to degrade on their own? I ask because it is wedged behind a pile of rock that I'd really rather not move if I can avoid it! Thanks!
No, don't leave it in there to "degrade", but if you have other organism in your tank that will eat the molt, then you can leave it in for that purpose. If its not gone by tomorrow, then take it out.
