No your thinking of a shrimp monkey.

I had one for a while. They just roam around the tank slowly eating particles of food that are in cracks on the rocks. Some specimens will eat mushrooms but mine never did.
One really cool aspect of the saron shrimp is that at night they turn blood red until the lights come back on.
I would try to get a smaller one if you can.
