Month by Month Pictures of my Reef

Hi everybody,
I have put together pictures of my reef from when I started till now. I am wondering if my reef is progressing like it should. I'm concerned mostly about my mushrooms. You can see from the pics on the growth. If I can get some opinions on my growth, it would help out a lot. I know I don't have alot of corals there now but I like to do things slowly.

What lighting are you using? You have awesome coraline! How large is your tank? Are you planning on adding more fish? Awesome job! :cheer:

Well, their is no rate at which a tank develops, because each tank is different. Haave you tried fragging the shrooms?

Thanks ! I never tried that so I'm not sure how it's done.

looks good, what is that powerhead with the tube doing? next to the overflow.
do a shroom search, I saw a post not sure where, but the guy gave a pic by pic of how to frag a shroom. I have a ton of shrooms, i never had to frag, i put Tech 1 in every monday and add phytoplex 2 a week. I have close to 200 shrooms.

I think those are tunze pumps. At least thats what they look like. not a cheap powerhead, but have heard they are good for water movement. No experince with them though.
Could also be Seio pumps...

Maybe place your shrooms lower if they are growing slower than you would like? They are kind of high up. Tank looks good though, I wouldn't fool with it.

In the first 3 months I did not have a speck of Coraline. I started to does with C-balance and ESV Calcium Hydroxide after 3 months. On the 4th month I stated to see Coraline grow. I'm now seeing different colors of it.

interesting seio pump layout ..........
i have a 120 with 2 seio 820's and 2 aquaclear 90's and found your pump layout interesting. do you have any problems with one attached to the back of your tank facing straight ahead - that is any digging of sand from your sand bed ?
i've placed mine on either corner left side / right side - facing on another and blowing across the tank to get a left /right flow and i'm just not real happy with them that way.
your set up looks promising .
any problems ?
what size tank do you have and what pump models are those ?
