how long have you had the coral in that spot?
anything else change in the tank? new bulbs? just started running carbon? salinity get too high? Alk too low?
I had my water level get a little low and air bubles were being shot into my display and nothing happened at all.
Sounds like it might be something else.

I have never had air bubbles cause a problem and I have run my sump low many times and had it blow bubble for a day. I would guess chemistry or monti eating nudis.

These guys are nasty and if you have one in your tank, you have more very quickly. They prey on monticaps and usually munch on their selected coral once your lights go out. You will notice slime coming off your monti or bleaching, those are the first signs that you have a monti eating nudi in your tank.

Yea my sump has shot my tank full or mico-bubbles more than once when it got too low.. No issues then....Nudis would be the first thought, but a while back I changed my flow direction and a Leather almost Nuked one of mine overnight....... It took several weeks for it to get its color back after removing the Leather. I thought I was going to lose it........

the nudi looks very cool but too bad its a pest for these corals.
its color is back, im not sure what i did, i did a 2 gal wc which lowered salt and added some bi-ionic and its edges are all back to color
that is very useful info on the nudis. if i saw them i would of kept it in there cus it looks cool but now i know.
thanks again

would there be a reason as to why my green tipped procilopora (sp?) would be thriving all over the tank but my pink tipped isnt?
