monti cap question

while messing with my tank, i busted off a 3x4 plate of my moti

so, my questions are ... will it regrow a plate in that spot and or should i try to glue it back in the same spot or just glue it somewhere else in the tank ???

dont glue it back. it will grow back. whatever piece broke off will become another cap. u could glue it back, but why?

so, glue it to another rock else where in the tank then... right ?

why not have another moti cap somewhere else in the tank whats that really matter i would take that and glue it somewhere else in there.
