Montipora Confusa

I just picked up this Montipora Confusa and i really like it alot.Bright green with redish brown polyps.Anyone else have one? Would like to know how fast they grow .I also picked up a Purple Acropora.Ill post some picks as soon as i can find out what my kid did with my camera.

i hv one. they r a type of encrusting sps. mine double in size in 4 months.

Mine is about 3 1/2 "tall and about 3" across.It has started to encrust the rubble its on .Its also is my new favorite piece

Hey NycBob, did you buy that green monti in the bottom left o fthe pic at that size? or did it grow and how fast? And also when are you fragging it cause I want first dibs

it grew to that size. i bought it back around august of last year. it was around 3 inches then. fragged it once as u can see on the upper right.

Just went today and got a piece of Orange Monti. Any suggestions on water params or feeding to get this little guy growing good?

orange montipora? or cap? either one will need medium to strong indirect flow and good lighting. if mh, try to acclimate it slowly by placing near bottom. if t5, then put it where u want it.
