montipora digita

flipping through catalog I saw the montipora digita. It says needs medium light. I was wondering if it would be alright in my tank if i put it up high enough.
29 gallon with PCs, 1 65w 10,000k bulb, 1 65w actinic 03 bulb

I have venture a guess of no..Im sure some more exp reefkeepers will chime in but I would say no..just from the little I know so far..

You need moderate to high intensity lighting for the montipora. Vho or better... I have some growing great under MH and VHO

With that kind of lighting over a 29 gal, I would have to say no. I conducted this with 8.6 watts per gallon of pc's over my fifteen gal and my montipora is 9 inches away from the light. Bang guy said it would be ok for me as long as I take care of it(meaning good water quality, addition supplements, and test, test, test).You might want to ask Bang guy( the Boss of Saltwater fish
) for some advice. Good luck
