Montipora really need flow?

I just got a candy apple montipora that is about 8 inches round and about 6 inches high (only $40) and I have an orange one that I have had for about 2 months. I have them both placed in areas with good light, but can't find a spot with good light and a lot of flow. They both have low to moderate flow. How important is it they have a lot of flow?

Montaporas usually are on the top of a reef where the wave action is strongest. I would say if you can't move them, redirect your power heads.
