I think I got several montiporas on my live rock today. Do these things spread? how big do they get? than

Are you sure they're montiporas??? Can you post pictures? If they are Montiporas, they do not spread unless you frag'em and place'em in areas where you want them to grow and that's where they grow. Mine grows at a pretty fast rate, it all depends on your system. :happyfish

I dont have a pic of them, but when I bought the live rock that lady at the lfs scraped them off the glass and gave them to me along with some greenish purple mushrooms.

Cool. If you don't have MH's, they won't last long....

they dont need MH from what i've seen. I've seen a site where someone grew a green digitata under 32w pc in a 7g.
