What kind of light setup do you have? There should be some kind of switch or something on it. If it is a retrofit then you can just unplug it.

nono there inst a seperate plug for them i've got 2 swiches for my T-5 and no switch for them...

I leave mine on 24/7. They're only LEDs so they don't use much power and last a long time.
