Its hard to say what it is, it oculd be something simple like a bad solder or twist joint, or it oculd be a burned out LED, but either way, I would call who ever made the component (Canopy) a its probably warranted if its a major manufacturer, and make a warranty claim if its under warranty yet. Some like coralife are great at it, and they will send out a new replacement part orentire light assembly and pay to have the other picked up by a shipper.

Aqua Pod is made by Current USA, and they will treat you right in getting the light to work again. They have already sent folks complete replacement hoods when a fan would not work. Give em a call and talk to them about the problem.

hey just an fyi, you can buy led lights at your local auto parts store. they sell light kits for cars i got mine for 13$ versus 29$ at the fish store. youll need a 12v converter to run it . your house gives 120v from your plug ins. i bought the converter at radio shack for my fan and you cut off the end of the (not the plug in part) and match positve to positive and neg to neg. have fun!!!

Yea, but for a sinlge led like is needed to fix the burned out led your probably talking less than a buck total for an exact match at anay electronics store and since it is in a socket its a piece of cake to fix......Probably costs Current USA about 2 cents or less
