Moonlight

Hello All,
Does anyone use any lighting to simulate moonlight throughout the night?
If so how often do you have it on (maybe 2 nights a week)?
Is it benificial to the fish?
Cheers

I use it every night with my fish and they are on a pretty set schedule.... No problems for more than a year now, it also stimulates natural nocturnal behavior... Especially mating behavior in clowns, which I also have...

Hi,
Thanks for your replies, thats helped me out.
Im assuming that moon light is replicated by LED's, would this be correct?
If so, How many LED's do I need for a 90Gal tank measuring approx
5' x 1.5' x 2' deep
Cheers

My nano measures 18" x 22" x 22" and the hood has 4 LEDs.
So with my freshmen math skills I'd say you need 6 or if you round up 7.
