Moonlighting

I am interested in puting some moonlighting in my canopy. I know it can be done with a small incandescent bulb. What size, type and watts does anyone reccomend using? I have a 37gal. tall tank with a canopy.
(I ran this in DIY Equip., but wanted more opinions) Thanks :D

I use two blue Christmas lights (I prefer the clear type) has no paint flakes to worry about. I have these screwed into a nightlight with a photcell. Mounted in a small box. I have to unplug them when I don't want moonlight effect.

I accidently created mine....here's how...
when we built my canopy that is designed to have 2 48" CSL fixtures sit on top of it.......I wanted a 2-3" brace running the length of the top........this canopy is 6" tall and the top is angled about 2" front/back to center...the brace runs the length and to allow heat to escape we drilled 3/4" holes about every 2 " the length of this brace
my plan was to let heat escape and it gives me a future mount for 2 MH bulbs with small reflectors in the top inside of my canopy....
well I have 2x30 watt ho that I sit on top of this.....fits perfect between the 2 CSL fixtures.....allows light thru the holes and ripples very nice.................got 'em on a dimmer and adjust according to moon cycle............looks gr8....especially on a full moon........
