I just lost a little hybrid cleaner goby and even tough he wasn't expensive, I really feel bad for the little fart. He had ick and he didn't take to the freshwater dip I gave him too well as he died shortly after I put him back in the tank.
I honestly feel sad when I loose a fish or even a snail for that matter.
Am I retarded and in need of a life or is this a good thing? Should I just say "Oh well it's just a fish and not care?" Just some thoughts about how other people view their aquarium pals would be nice so I know if I'm overreacting or just plain crazy.

I know I feel bad whenever a fish dies, I consider all my fish pets too.

I'm sorry for your loss, its ok to feel bad when you loss one, we grow to love or little fishy friends, I morn the loss just like I would if it was one of my dogs. Lisa

I always feel bad when a fish dies, however, if this fish had ick, you best attending to the remaining fish that are in your tank, if you have any, otherwise they will all be sick and dying soon!
