I've got a Canon S400.
4.0 megapixels, ISO 400, pretty good macro
There's also an S500 model out there, 5.0 megapixels.
It's not as nice as the G5 and some larger models, but it's classified as an 'ultra-compact' camera. i bought it because it's small enough to toss in my pocket for football games and sporting events, and hiking, yet still has the capabilities of some larger cameras.
check on http://www.dpreview.com for some comparisons
I have to play with the settings, and like most digital cameras it takes a bunch of shots to come out with the one you want. But I like it, good "Swiss Army camera": plenty of capabilities and tools in a small package. Includes 3 minutes of video too, comes in handy to catch those last-minute buzzer-beater basketball shots.
I'll post some other shots later on, some scenery ones, if you're interested in non-fish capabilities.

another low light in Johann (sorry, image quality degrades when I have to resize to 500 pixels)

so, there's probably more floating around the forum, if you've got any questions, feel free to ask.
i'd check the website i listed above for full comparisons.

People think it's the camera that does all the job for them, really though, it also takes skill into knowning what ur doing. Just my 02, but the s400 really is a good camera.

Exactly, that's why I said I have to play with the settings a lot. It takes a bunch of shots to get the one you're looking for at times. But it's easy to learn, and fun at the same time, at least for me.

Bla, I have a Cannon PowerShot A40, Bad camera IMO, 2.0 megapixles, If you look around my pics are really bad, I take my pics without the Flash though, I'm looking for a good camera that works without the flash!

the a40 isn't that bad. Mega pixel doesn't mean ur quality go up... Mega pixel just makes the resolution bigger for more detail and better prints. 2 mega pixel should be fine since u can easily go 1600x1200 or even take 640x480 (VGA) and resize it...

It's not just the megapixels, the A40 loses a lot of macro and other setting capabilities that I have (if I remember correctly). And it makes taking a quality fish pic a lot more work.
