More clowns?

Can you add 2 more clowns to a 55g if there are a couple in it already if there the same kind?

No, ideally you should only have one 1 pair of clowns in any size tank.

well not quite true, if the tank is big enough they will have their own territories. but in a 55 i wouldn't advise it. in the wild several share an anemone....one female, one male, and the rest don't reach sexual maturity....unless something happens to the female or male, then one will step up(the next dominate one).

I was advised by a few trusted, experienced pros here to only have one pair in a 180g tank, let alone a 55g. So take it for what it's worth.

sorry, i'm not a pro....so don't take my advise.

IMHO, it is possible for two pairs to co-exist in a large tank. Remember i never stated a size either. I concider a 200+ to be a large tank size.
