More than one dwarf angel in reef.

Angels don't like company of their own kind, unfortunately. We have to stick to the 'one to a tank' rule.

are you talking about an ebli angel? If so make sure you reall want him. I have done a lot of things to try and get mine out of my reef but he's there to stay(And of course I know every fish is diffrent some work some don't but everyone should be warned about this little critter. They love brain coral.)

I will probably get fllamed for this but, here goes. I have had a coral beauty and a flame angel together for over a year now. They were in a 72 bow and now they are in the same 180 gallon. They have never picked at each other at all. This may mot be the typical results but everything is good with these two.

here's my opinion on the matter:
i know that it has been done successfully in a 125. that is a 6 foot tank and could possibly provide enough of a territory for both fish(they will each need their own territory, they won't coexist with a "pecking order.") it would be more likely that it would work in a 180.
however, with a 6 foot tank you open the door to many options of fish, including tangs, which can coexist in most cases with each other if added at the same time.

You can try it but i think the C. nox is one of the least hardiest of the drawfs...many dont make it...if the Flame picks on it then the extra stress could be bad....Might try the Nox first without the Flame and if all goes well then add the Flame later....hopefully your tank is well established w/ lots of live rock for them to graze from...
