More than one type of clown?

Is it ok to have more than one species of clown in the same tank? My wife is dying to get a pair of picasso clowns, and we already have a small pair of true percs. 65 gallon reef. Thanks

It's hit or miss, depends on the fish. I have a 72g bowfront with a pair of maroons and a pair of true percs, each stays on one side of the tank with their anemone. You might want to redo your rockwork so the percs won't be territorial

I had a pair of black clowns in an anemone in a 120 and I added a pair of picasso's and the black clown would not leave them alone.
I wouldn't add any pairs of clowns to a tank when there is already a pair in there after what I went through.

Well first---- Welcome to the boards
Although it has been done in larger tanks I think it will be a problem eventually. Just my .02
