Morty has a bubble on his gill!

Hey all,
morty (snowflake eel) has this bubble like thing attached to his gill. He does not show any problems with breathing or eating. Still acting normal, but I cannot figure out what it is. Any chance it's a piece of mucous that has attached itself and will progressively get worse? All levels in the tank are normal.

I have never seen or heard of that before. Is it eating well and is actting different? Wish I could help. Good Luck
