I think the coral life (new improves) is the best one. it captures the water from 6" bellow the surface and no bubbles. you dont have to fart around by trying to keep the water line on the line, it does it itself when you take it up
The most accurate method is to use a refractometer. They cost about $100, but will give you the most accurate measurement in both specific gravity and actual salinity in ppm.
