Well almost everything I ever bought was wholesale so I won't mention actual price but...
I would say it was the 2" Huma Huma. not that he was expensive, it's just that he killed my Red Sea Volitan that was 15" with a 18" finspan, to me he was indeed a priceless showfish. You see my avatar up there? Thats his baby picture from his first show. He took 2nd place overall marine fish when he was only 5" whos species' minimum show size would be 10". He was in the ocean about 8 days before the show.
That Huma cost me alot.

The most expensive I bought is a $65 harlequin tusk from Austrailia. From what I have seen on the internet I got him at a good price.
My most expensive loss was a sebae clown took out a red snapper and spotted grouper. He is no longer a part of my tank.

The most expensive fish I ever bought was a beta in a little cup. It probably has cost me about 15K+ since then.

Does your pygmy nip at your corals? I just got one and he seems uninterested in mine so far.
My most expensive fish was a large PT, i think he was 90.00.

HE DOESNT NIP AT ALL. I DID GET HIM WHEN HE WAS VERY VERY SMALL THOUGH. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PYGMY ANGELS IN THE PAST AND I FIND IF YOU BUY THEM SMALL THEY DONT NIP, AND IF YOU BUY THEM ALMOST FULLY GROWN THEY NIP
