Hey trigger fans................what are some of the funniest or most wierd things you have seen your trigger/s do? ***)
I love it when our Pinktail spits at me when I don't immediately feed him.

It is also cool when he picks up HUGE chunks of LR and totes it around the tank
Proving........."I'm the biggest and baddest trigger in the tank"

Any body else? I know you have laughed your buns off at something...........am I right? Let's hear em................Peace

I've heard my Niger grunt, and the Hummu flips upside down then right side up. Once and a while he'll do a complete barrel roll

I had a trigger that literally played dead everytime you came close to the tank, he would immediatly float sideways to the bottom, all color would disappear, and he would just lay there, and as soon as you backed up from the tank, he would get up and be fine. He was nerotic, and because of that he is dead R.I.P. My tank was fine because my other fish lived.
I also have a Niger that splashes you if you put food in the tank, and he tries to attack you through the glass.

It trips me out when I watch these fish. They move in very mysterious ways. Titan, ours roll too
when they go to the bottom and peck at the substrate, they spin. Our Picasso sleeps on his head, with his tail up in the air in a little crevice in the rock

Tennis, what kind of trigger was the one that played dead..........that is too funny

The only other behaviour that I've noticed is Undy's love hate for hermits. If I catch her trying to eat the Red-Starry in her tank, I'll flip him right side up, and put him in the sheltered rockwork. Then the beast will lay sideways on the substrtate in order to get her snout under the rock. She'll bite the tip of his shell, and drag the poor lil' SOB out into the great wide open for more torture

My niger likes to grab my hermit crab shells and drops them and then goes and picks them back up. He does this a lot.

When i went to the LFS to get my picaso, there was another large trigger in the tank.
As soon as the LFS guy put the bag in, the big trigger bit the bag poking holes in it...guy went through 3 bags before he had to net the big trigger before he filled the bag with water.

Nothing wierd about this I guess, but I love when my little niger (4") steals food right from my puffer or emp angels mouth. They are twice his size so he grabs it and runs in the rockwork to eat. Sometimes they give chase but he is by far the fastest fish in my tank.
