mounting MH bulbs

Those of you that have DIY MH canopies, how did you mount your MH bulbs? I was thinking about trying to find some kind of a clip that would hold the bulb, but it would have to sustain some pretty high temps. Are there other options? There's not much I can do with my mogul sockets...

when i got my mogul socket it came with metal screw on end cover that was threaded. you may want to look into that. is your socket porecelain? i got a leviton catalog # 8678 porcelain mogul base.

I mounted my mogul socket by using the threaded screw holes on the end. I just used a metal "L" shaped bracket to put a screw through and into the end of the mogul socket. Worked for me!
