Move to New Tank - How To

We are getting a new tank, 70 gallon to replace our existing 50 with UGF and crushed coral substrate. (The 50 is going to my office as freshwater.) We want the 70 to be fish with live rock and live sand. We have a picasso trigger we love so we are not trying corals because I hear the trigger will just eat them anyway. We will be getting the live rock and sand from LFS so I don't think we will have to cure it and hopefully will not have to cycle. (Right?)
What are you suggestions for making the move? We have a fluval 304 in which I put the ceramic media to get some bio filtration going, thinking that could supplement the LR/LS while it gets established - good idea or not necessary? We can run the two tanks side by side for awhile, any suggestions on how long to do that to be sure the new tank is ready? (Fish = picasso trigger, yellow-eyed tang, flame angel, golden-maroon clown and one small damsel.)
Thanks for any and all replies.

If you are sure the rock and sand are GOOD,Then you should not have a cycle at all.If you can leave the old tank up and running, that would be best.I would setup the new tank, let it settle for a day or so,then start adding the fish one or two at a time.Check the levels daily. If the ammo,or trites start to rise you can always put the fish back into the old tank...If you can catch them...GOOD LUCK,and keep us updated....
