Moving 90 gal tank

Hi everyone. I am moving my 90 gallon tank from an upstairs bedroom, to in a wall in my downstairs office. What's nice is I have an entire garage for equipment and tank storage. Here is my problem. I had neglected the tank until a couple months ago. For about 2 years or so I was using RO DI top off water without changing the filters in RO DI unit. So after cleaning the tank and running the light (I have upgraded to 2x 250 MH and 4x 56 actinic I developed a bg hair algae problem. I'm assuming it was from what was in the top off water I was using. Anyway I have since changed everything in the RO DI and my TDS meter is at 0. So since my tank is going to be taken apart and moved, how can I make this to my advantage with regards to the hair algae? Will just using all new saltwater be enough to starve/kill it off? Should I peroxide dip Ann the LR? Your tips appreciated

Ok, but that really doesnt help me at all.
Since I have the task of moving and emptying the tank, I am trying to figure out what is my best move.

Ditch the old water......I'd peroxide dip your problem rock, and yes scale the lighting back as well.....
