We bought and moved an established 75g 2 days ago. We have a 17 year old lionfish (is this possible? its what the previous owner said...) blue tang and brown tang and @40lbs of lr. Our water is testing high for nitrates but nitrites and ammonia are testing at 0. I think the nitrates are high because of the move, right? And to make sure that I'm on my way to understanding the nitrogen cycle thing...ammonia from decaying food, waste, etc is turned into nitrItes by bacteria.....and then into nitrAtes? Our nitrAtes are at about 60. Should we do a partial change or wait a few days for everything to settle. I dont want to do anything wrong
