I'm moving from 8 foot reef/fish tank to a corner
reef tank, My question is... If I use water from the 8 foot tank along with the rock and substrate
Will I be able to move my critters directly into the new tank, or should I cycle for 3 weeks.
lastly, I love the look of Play sand in a reef tank. It looks like a real Sand bottom on the beach. Has any body ever done this and is there any down side beyond it getting into equipment. I would use plenty of activated crush coral under the reef.
