Moving an anemone

I have Haitan anemone that has well outgrown my 29 gal and I would like to migrate it to my 90. What would be the easiest way to get the thing "unstuck" from the rocks aside from brute force?! Thanks!

Point a strong power head directly at it. Or, if you can move the rock that it is attached to you can also try to support the rock up high in your tank and dangle the anem upside down, this would prove to be most uncomfortable for it, and it might move.

i agree. if its attached to a rock why not just move the rock w/ anemone to the 90? if all else fails a thin plastic spatula used gently works, slowly sliding it between it's foot and the rock/glass.

Thats what I ended up doing about 3 hrs ago. Hard to hold a chunk of rock in a little tank, so I just transferred the whole thing. Temps were similar and water quality pretty much the same. It looks like it took the transfer well and might be better off with the higher quality lights anyway.
Thanks for your help.
