My large LTA (12" across) with two clowns has been happy in one spot for three years.
It just decided to move a few inches away.
Any reason why?
It cannot move further because of rocks blocking around.
Can it eventually jump over the rocks???
thanks
Hi,
LOL...an anemone can't "jump" over rocks, but it can crawl into some really tight spaces. Be sure to cover your power heads and intake tubes. A moving anemone, is an unhappy anemone, and since they follow the water flow, they can get sucked up, polluting the tank as they die. Maybe the water current was changed if you moved your power heads or shifted something. A few inches isn't a big concern, but it could go free floating looking for a happier spot at any time.
